Here are some photos of Playa de'las Americas
in Tenerife submitted by the Leeds Lads. A big thanks to the lads for submitting
these Playa de'las Americas photos. Here is a review from the Leeds
Lads:
Seven of us went to Tenerife
(all aged 17) after our exams and it was our first lad’s holiday abroad. We
stayed in Laguna Park II in the main part of Tenerife (Playa De Las Americas).
First impressions of Tenerife were that it was a bit dirty after seeing the
beach (dark & sooty looking), but we then realised that Tenerife is a volcanic
island!
The Laguna Park II
apartments were nothing special in my opinion, we had a few cockroaches but the
place was kept clean regularly by the maid service. Watch out for the security
though, we shone a laser pen outside the apartment windows and we had security
raiding our rooms and threatening to send us back home! (we got 12 warnings in
total - for things like noise etc) and we thought this was where the young ‘uns
stayed!
If you’re
going for non stop partying then Tenerife isn’t a bad place to be! The
Veronicas stretch of bars was absolutely huge, and has fantastic bars like
LINEKERS & BOBBYS. Another great club/bar to go is SOULCELLERS - they have
live bands on here all the time doing cover versions of popular songs, one
of the highlights being Prodigy’s firestarter, complete with fire breathing!
There’s
plenty of water sports to do during the day at the beach, so if you get sick
of sunbathing in the extremely hot Tenerife sun, you can cool down on the
ringo's, banana boat, flying fish or Jet ski's
The only
reason I haven’t been back to Tenerife is that I’ve fallen in love with
Greece.
For
partying - Tenerife is one of the best places you can go.
