Here are some photos of Playa de' las Americas in Tenerife. This is a really lively place with plenty to do for everyone. As always in the Canaries the weather was fantastic. We went in June and it was in the 90's. There are plenty of good bars here, you'd be spoilt for choice and plenty of places to eat too.

We stayed in the Hotel California which is only 5 minutes walk or so from the main strip. The apartment we had wasn't great to be honest, but we didn't get to see any of the others so we might have just got a poor room. The pool was pretty lively and was mainly groups of young singles. We enjoyed the nightlife, the only complaint I could have was the amount of reps trying to get you into the bars and they don't like to take no for an answer - but then again, this seems to be the case in a lot of places now. Overall it was a good (and lively) holiday and as you can see in these Playa de'las Americas photos, there is plenty of attractive scenery too.
