The pace of life in New York is overwhelmingly energetic! - Most people either seem to love it or hate it, but it seems impossible to feel indifference towards it. Probably the best months for visiting New York are May, June, September and October as during July and August the weather can kick into a real heat wave. The average temperatures for July and August are in the 30's° C but can often get up to around 39°C (around 100°F). You might find yourself popping into air conditioned shops a little too often! New York has a vast amount of shopping opportunities from the markets for any bargain hunters to the more exclusive stores of Madison Avenue. The sightseeing opportunities are plentiful and there is so much varied entertainment - you can't get bored! |
