Here are some photos of
Montreal and Quebec, Canada that were submitted by Nick. A big thanks to Nick
for submitting these Montreal and Quebec photos. Here is Nick's review
of Montreal and Quebec, Canada:
Although there is plenty to
say about both cities, I only spent two days in each, so I have decided to
consider both as a single trip. There are the two major French speaking cities
of Canada (please do not think that this means they are French – they are not,
they just speak French). I also feel that Montreal and Quebec compliment each
other wonderfully. I visited Montreal first, and immediately took to the big
city atmosphere. There is a great buzz about the place, and there was an
abundance of restaurants, bars, etc. For example, we spent a lot of time in the
Quartier Latin, which had great places to eat, great nightlife, and loads of
incredible looking women!
Quebec City
was a perfect follow up, as it is a lot calmer and slowed than Montreal.
There is a lot of history to Quebec, but if that is not to your fancy, there
are also places to drink, relax, etc. Although Quebec was a little too slow
for my liking, a lot of people I was there with preferred it to Montreal
(its all about personal taste). Plus, just outside of the city, there are
plenty of outdoor activities to partake in. There are many day trips which
guarantee that you will see whales, for example. We visited the nearby
Montmorency Falls, and took a swim in the river at the top of the falls – a
perfect hangover cure.
