These are some photos of Laganas in Zante (Zakynthos). We stayed in the villa Helena apartments which are excellent. They are run by George who is a Greek Canadian and his parents. They aren't many apartments and it has a really friendly feel to the place. George and his family can't do enough for you. One night during our stay they had a barbeque and Greek night for all the guests. George's father (Jan) had everybody doing Zorba's dance around the pool! (there's a few photos below) - Laganas itself is a really nice place too. It's extremely hot and has loads of good bars and restaurants and as you can see from these Zante photos, there is lots of stunning scenery. The main road down to the beach has all the busier bars which was mainly full of teenagers. There were some good bars playing really good music (the music was mainly R&B) - our favourite was probably Cherry Bay which is right by the beach (for some reason there is a shower in the bar! and we did see some people using it!). For quieter bars, there is Kalamaki Road which has numerous bars with quiz nights and karaoke.
