This page has some photos of Hanioti in Halkidiki. These photos are from July 2003 when myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Vicky Apartments in Hanioti, Halkidiki. I can highly recommend the Vicky Apartments and Hanioti. The Vicky is run by Michael, Leo and Pat and they are extremely friendly. There aren't very many apartments - which we found was great, as everyone gets to know everyone else and it feels like an extended family!

Hanioti is a great resort, there are lots of people who return year after year. It's probably best suited to couples and families in my opinion. There are plenty of music bars but we didn't see any with a dance floor (although I believe there are some clubs). I have to give a mention to Billy's Bar, which is great for people watching. Take a seat outside and watch people posing up and down the street! - Another good bar is the Sunshine Cocktail Bar (they give you free crisps with your drink!). For food I have to recommend the Old Tavern and the Hot Goblin (try a jacket potato and see if you can finish it!) The beach is great, but as the holiday reps normally warn - watch out for sea urchins - I stood on one within 5 minutes of getting to the beach (on my first day!) but then again I always seem to injure myself somehow on holiday, so maybe it's just me!
